Fixing Your Broken Belt 4 Dummies

Late this past evening, technically early morning around 3am 1/25/12 at the Hendrix Recording Studios in Santa Clara, CA... I just happen to sit up, nonchalantly, from my seat when my studded belt fell apart breaking into two separate pieces. At first I must admit I was very saddened and walked around for about 10 minutes holding my pants up by hand. I remember thinking to myself, "Damn... now I must wake up early, take my ass to the mall and spend more money on ANOTHER belt!" It's not so much the spending money part that pissed me off... but do you have any idea how many times I have purchased the same exact belt because they always break? I would guesstimate the average life span of a Punk Studded Belt last's me about 4-6 months tops before wearing down and BUSTING in half. In the mist of sorrow, a light bulb went off in my cluttered brain. "I know! I'll ghetto rig my belt #Rockstar status!" (In case you don't understand my lingo, I mean to creatively construct a temporary fix for my belt). As I started brain storming while lashing out hilarious ideas... I figured why not film the process of how I, Travy the #Rockstar, would teach someone step by step how to fix their broken belt?! Now that your up to speed, watch and learn! Enjoy =)

Calicove Debriefing

For those who don't know I am currently in a band named Calicove. We formulated in late 2009 around the Christmas Holidays. Calicove has gone through a process of dealing with hired on musicians for instrumentation but the solid core has always been an artist we call Amazin', Adam (aka El Beast) and myself (aka Authentic). Amazin' and I are the two lead vocalist's and Adam is our lead guitarist. Currently the full band consist's of us three, plus our newest addition Alex whom plays the drums. Do to the difficulty of keeping consistent full time bandmates, Calicove only post's pictures of the lead vocalists. I don't really think it's fair to people such as Adam but we don't have the capitol in order to showcase a new drummer or bass guitarist every 3-4 months. It requires new photo shoots, new this and new that to update all the websites and it just becomes to much of a hassle. Do note that Adam is officially a Calicove member and not just a guitarist who plays with us lol. I think we have only done, I'm estimating, about 10 shows since the birth of Calicove. We have been blessed to now work with our newest sound technician Aaron Reppert who assist's in hooking up our equipment. Simultaneously while we perform Aaron oversee's the mixing board to assure all volume levels are even and each show runs smoothly. Feel free to visit: www.itsCalicove.com for more information. Calicove has some pretty in depth and unexplainable stories which I plan on sharing over the course of time but for now I want to showcase the music videos we have released. Hope you like them...

The FIRST blog EVER!

Ello world... I started this blog for myself. Not really interested in whether or not people agree or disagree with what I say, feel, want or act in MY blog. This is my canvas so I shall paint the picture how ever I choose through my own eyes. I invite anyone to visit my world, ANYONE who is interested in my life... the life of a young man who is very inspired to be great. My dreams are ginormous, my personality is bold and my drive for success is raging in flames.

My name is Travis. I was born and raised in Hayward, CA but have also done a fair amount of growing up in Fremont, CA. I'm currently 24 years young, a little over 2months shy from my 25th birthday on March 9th. In 2005 I graduated from Irvington High School and still till this day I've never furthered my schooling. Since then I have been working numerous jobs which paid for the several tattoo's I have acquired starting from the age 20 when I got my first tatt' on fathers day, with my pop's I might add. I'm currently a full time musician but interested in picking up a bartender position and tattooing for a hobby. By the way I suck at spelling and sometimes don't use the right grammar; their, there, whole, hole. Bare with me and please don't focus your attention on things of that nature. Thank you.

Welcome to my page. "Assure your impression on this world is left, even if it isn't right."
